To make sure that landlords are meeting our six standards we monitor how they are performing.
We base our approach to performance monitoring on the following;
• annual reports
• performance outcomes promised to tenants
• exiting information sources
• analysis of complaints
• external validation
• negative assurance
• inspection
• requests for further information

Key data
We collect and store a lot of key data from social housing providers about the homes they own and manage, the lettings and sales they undertake, and their key expenditure.
We source most of our information from the following datasets:
