Financial regulation

The TSA has begun to review the financial information it collects and will update its requirements in light of this review.

Part of the TSA's remit is to monitor the financial health of social landlords. We currently publish:

an annual review of housing association private finance;
an annual review of the global accounts of housing associations; and
quarterly surveys of housing associations

These documents are available under Financial reviews, part of our Publications and research section.

Additionally, our Regulatory Judgements summarise our overall assessment of each association's compliance with our regulatory framework. The Judgements set out our view as to whether the organisation is viable, properly governed and properly managed.

The TSA's Financial Appraisal page details the submission requirements expected of housing associations for financial returns. This covers the electronic submission of annual accounts and forecasts.
