The TSA has published today a notice covering the guideline limit for rents, revised rent caps and bedroom weights for 2010-11.

Following the publication by Communities and Local Government of the Government Directions to the TSA, including a standard relating to rent, the TSA has published a notice covering the guideline limit for rents, revised rent caps and bedroom weights for 2010-11. The notice also covers the steps that associations should take if they believe they may need to apply for an extension to the period over which the requirements of the rent standard are to be met.

Clare Miller, the TSA’s Executive Director – Risk and Assurance, has written to housing association Chief Executives today to alert them to the notice. A copy of the letter is available.
