NROSH XML schema
Please note that from noon on the 1st April 2010 the new NROSH website can be found at

XML (Extensible Mark-up Language) is the industry standard for moving information around so that it can be read by different systems. It is the Government preferred format for large datasets.
The NROSH XML schema defines the format in which data uploads must be provided to NROSH. It should be used in conjunction with the NROSH data field definitions.
If you have opted to make a DIY data extraction, rather than use a NROSH toolkit, you need to ensure that your data extract complies exactly with the XML schema. Please note that to develop your own NROSH data extract, you will either need internal XML expertise or will have to buy this in.
Download Release 4 NROSH XML schema (R4 is required to meet 2009 targets)
Download release notes to R4 NROSH XML schema (outline what's changed since R3)
If you are using a NROSH data extraction toolkit, the conversion of your data to the XML format will be automatic, so you do not need to use the XML schema.
